looking for a new home
For the last week or so ‘Number One’ has been crowing and bothering the lady chooks. It’s time to try and find him a new home.
New chicks
the new chicksstarted to hatch yesterday, 5 hatched on Thursday and one more today. there are 2 coronation Sussex and 4 barnevelders, all 3 light Sussex are still not pipped yet, hopefully we’ll get to see them hatch over the weekend
Growing up
Big sisters chicks are growing quickly, they are almost 4 weeks old now and have got lots of feathers, I’m pretty sure the salmon fav is a girl and the two black ones are boys, the grey one I’m not sure about yet.
Chook house finally finished
