Got back the day before yesterday from a few days down in Peaceful Bay. We took Midas away with us for the first time and he loved it. We were a bit worried as to how well he was going to travel as it’s 5 hours in the car but he was fine. Three beach swims a day! I’ve never seen him so buggered though. He was still a bit shattered yesterday and has spent a lot of time sleeping. Doesn’t help that it was 40 degrees C at home. Poor dogalog.
Anyway, Christmas at Peaceful Bay was great and we’ll definitely do it again. Nice campsite, good company and a 3 minute walk to a beautiful, sheltered swimming beach. It just doesn’t get better than that.
I even went for a fish but didn’t get anything. I think it’s the third time I’ve taken Ads fishing and we’ve come back with nothing 🙂
